Why this answer
This is straight recall of 19 CFR 111.13(f). Under the edition tested, an examinee who failed to attain a passing grade could appeal by filing a written appeal within 60 calendar days after the date of the written notice of the exam result. The question asks only for the number of days, so 60 is keyed. Thirty and 45 days attract because they resemble other familiar CBP timeframes from the licensing and entry rules, and 120 and 180 days echo the broker-employment periods elsewhere in part 111, but none of those periods has anything to do with appealing an examination grade. Watch for: Substituting a familiar 30- or 45-day CBP deadline for the 60-day appeal period.
