Why this answer
Under the edition tested, 19 CFR 111.28(b)(1)(i) required brokers to submit a written list of employees with specified identifiers: name, social security number, date and place of birth, current home address, last prior home address, and employment history. A driver's license number is not among them, so D is the item the broker need not report. The distractors are all drawn from the regulation's own list, and the previous home address is the entry candidates most often reject as implausible, which is precisely why it is the strongest lure. Remembering that the list centers on identity and background, not credentials, resolves the question. Watch for: Rejecting the genuinely required previous home address as too intrusive to be real.
