All brokers must provide each active client with a written Notice to client of method of payment. An active client means:
- AA client from whom a broker has transacted customs business with on at least two occasions within the 12-month period preceding notification.
- BA client from whom a broker has obtained a power of attorney and for whom the broker has transacted customs business with on at least one occasion within the 12-month period preceding notification.
- CA client from whom a broker has transacted customs business with on at least one occasion within the 6-month period preceding notification.
- DA client from whom a broker has obtained a power of attorney and for whom the broker has transacted customs business with on at least two occasions within the 12-month period preceding notification.✓ CBP's answer
